Avoid Burnout and Achieve Well-being Through Work-Life Alignment
Building and running a successful small business requires an incredible amount of sweat equity. The price of success is often paid with time not spent tending to other needs that are critical for sustaining long term health and essential for maintaining important relationships. Greater well-being can be achieved when there is better alignment of financial, physical health, mental health, and relationship quality goals that drive daily decisions. Quality of life (QOL) can be thought of as a “moving average” of well-being. A relatively small number of factors tend to have a big influence on QOL.
In this 2 hour, experiential workshop, participants will learn to apply quality-by-design engineering principles to everyday life and be encouraged to:
- Assess Quality of Life
- Determine the Single Most Important Factor Affecting Well-Being
- Evaluate Key Personal and Professional Relationships
- Identify One Critical Action Towards Achieving Greater Work Life Alignment
All participants will be given a self-evaluation worksheet to serve as a guide for making on-going QOL improvements. They will be offered a free, 15-minute phone consultation with the instructor 4-6 weeks after the workshop to discuss their personal progress and challenges in achieving greater work-life alignment. Follow-up emails are welcome and will be answered promptly.
