Opportunity Zone (OZ) stakeholders and practitioners from the entire Northern Virginia region are encouraged to participate in this workshop.

Speakers include:
– Erik Johnston, Director, VA Dept. of Housing and Community Development (DHCD)
– Jim Gahres, Director of Redevelopment and Special Projects, Prince William County Department of Economic Development
– Becca Richardson, Director of Project Development, Opportunity Virginia

During this workshop, you will hear a brief introduction to the OZ incentive from Erik Johnston, Director of VA DHCD. You’ll also learn about Prince William County’s local incentives, redevelopment efforts, and the area’s OZs. Becca Richardson will give an “OZ 101” presentation, which will explain the basics of the program and how it can be leveraged in both real estate and operating business projects. Time will also be allotted for Q&A.
