In partnership with the Central Virginia Small Business Development Center, the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity conducts this workshop to inform small business entrepreneurs and owners of emerging small businesses about the benefits of the small business set-aside preference program in place for state agency and many local government agency procurements. The main objective is to give one-on-one assistance to business owners wishing to apply for SWaM and Micro certification for their businesses. Bring all of your required supporting documents to the session to be scanned and uploaded to your application on file. This workshop is free and is approximately 3 hours in duration. It is open to entrepreneurs considering the start-up of a business as well as owners of existing and emerging small businesses.
