The Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia at Community Business Partnership is hosting its 2nd annual social entrepreneurship conference, “Collecting Change: Building a Thriving Social Enterprise.” The event will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 8 am – 3pm at Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, 8300 Boone Blvd, Tysons Corner, VA 22182.

Our line-up of speakers ranges from a trilingual social entrepreneur who has built businesses in Spain, Senegal and the US; to a professor in leadership studies at George Mason University. You will walk away from this conference with the following skillsets:

– how to optimize your content for successful fundraising

– how to better engage with beneficiaries to make yourself a more effective changemaker

– how to translate social change leadership into practical applications

– how to attract money for your social venture

-how to discover tools for turning business as usual into business for good


Tickets are $40 for general admission and $25 for students. They can be purchased at
